It's April 1st & Spring is certainly in the air! Along with the changing of seasons comes the chance for regeneration & rejuvenation in every area of our lives. Today I'd like to focus on our financial health, and a few simple steps we can take to create more abundance in our pocketbooks. With Spring comes (dread) taxes, which can prompt us to take note of our financial abundance...or lack thereof. I am a firm believer in getting back what we give out, or "reaping what we sow." Therefore, I find that for long term financial success, one must not only be content at what they are choosing as life work, but they must also be making a difference. Zig Ziglar put it best when he said, "If you help others achieve what they want, you will most certainly get what you want." Think of others first. Tithing of your time, effort & financial resources is a sure fire way to receive what you've sown 10 fold. Offer to straighten up an elderly neighbor's yard, send out a few greeting cards to loved ones, give an hour of your time to a humane society or retirement home in your area. Give back to your community. Giving will create a sense of self value that is irreplaceable by any other means of satisfaction.
